These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Volt Fleet Academy (the "Program" or "Service"), operated by AS RENTAL LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company doing business as Volt Fleet Academy ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). By purchasing, enrolling in, or accessing the Program, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to purchase or use the Program. By enrolling, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Educational Nature of the Program
Volt Fleet Academy is an online educational program that teaches operators how to launch and run a stand-up electric scooter rental business in the United States. The Program is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is NOT legal, tax, accounting, insurance, investment, or financial advice, and it does NOT form, register, or maintain business entities on your behalf.
3. License to Access
Subject to your payment of the applicable fee and your compliance with these Terms, the Company grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and view the Program materials for your own individual learning. You may not share your login credentials, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly display the Program materials.
4. Payment
The Program is sold as a one-time purchase of $900 USD. Payments are processed by Stripe. All sales are final, subject to the Refund Policy. You are responsible for any taxes that apply in your jurisdiction.
5. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
6. Intellectual Property
All content in the Program - including videos, written materials, templates, spreadsheets, calculators, SOPs, and the Volt Fleet Academy brand - is the property of AS RENTAL LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may use the templates and SOPs internally for your own business operations; you may not republish or resell them.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Copy, record, redistribute, or publicly post Program materials.
- Share your account credentials with any other person.
- Use the Program or community to harass, defame, or harm other students.
- Use the Program for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
We may suspend or terminate your access without refund (outside the 14-day window) for any violation of these Terms.
8. No Professional Advice; No Entity Formation
The Company is not a law firm, accounting firm, registered investment adviser, insurance broker, or licensed financial professional. The Program does NOT include formation of LLCs or other entities, federal or state tax registrations (including Form SS-4 / EIN applications), insurance certifications, or legal or tax advice of any kind. You are solely responsible for engaging qualified, licensed professionals in your jurisdiction.
9. No Earnings Guarantee
Your results depend on factors outside our control, including your time, capital, skill, market, and execution. See our Income Disclaimer. The Company does not guarantee any specific outcome.
10. Disclaimers
THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE PROGRAM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, OR LOST DATA.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its officers, members, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Program, your business activities, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Program will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Program after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
